OWNERS ASSOCIATION

Anyone interested in purchasing property at Leisure Lake, please call our President at 563-663-0617 to determine if the property you want to purchase has any unpaid dues owing.  Some property information is confidential and will only be given to your real estate agent prior to closing. New members are responsible for any unpaid dues on their property.

Leisure Lake has it's own security committee to enforce the rules and bylaws.

             BOATS, WATERCRAFT, and NLV (Golf Cart/Go Kart/4 Wheeler) RULES



Boats, watercraft's, and NLV's must be owned and registered by a property owner. The initial cost for registration is $10.00, and $5.00 renewal fee for each year after. The Boats/Watercraft's are to display the LLPOA decal in the middle of the craft on both sides and be visible from the shore. 

NLV's must display an Orange plate, and year sitcker.  Contact Regina Gabel-Reisen at wolfrisen@hotmail.com. to register and acquire plates/stickers .



NO boats are allowed in the swimming area. any boat found on the beach or in the emergency areas will be taken to the complex and chained. A assessment must be paid to reclaim your boat or watercraft. No internal combustion engines are allowed in the lake. The area around the boat or watercrafts resting area must be maintained by the craft owner. Parking Private Boats on Association land is strictly Prohibited.



                                                  





                                                  RESERVE THE PAVILION



If you want to reserve the pavilion, grills, tables, or chairs, please contact Regina Gabel-Reisen at wolfrisen@hotmail.com. This is free for members in good standing.  Please dump the garbage after use of the pavilion, or you could be charged for clean up.






                                                           GARBAGE


Garbage is disposed of at gate 2 in dumpsters. It is picked up every Friday. This area is monitored by security cameras.  Trash can be deposited from either side of the dumpsters, please do not leave anything outside the dumpsters.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO:



 BREAKDOWN CARDBOARD TO SAVE ROOM IN THE DUMPSTERS. 



 CLOSE THE LIDS TO PREVENT ANIMALS FROM ENTERING.



 REPORT ANY NON-MEMBERS YOU SEE DUMPING.



 PICK UP ANY TRASH YOU SEE ON THE GROUND AT THE DUMPSTER SITE AND DISPOSE OF IT.


                                                             RECYCLE

As you head toward Highway 61, there is a recycling station on the south side of the Bellevue/Cascade Road near Otter Creek.  If you want to recycle your metal, plastics, etc, this is open to all of Jackson County.  This will save much space in our dumpsters.




If you are going to dig, you need to call Iowa One Call at 1-800-292-8989. If you don’t call and sever a line, it is YOUR responsibility to pay the fine and fix the line








                                                         BOARD MEETINGS



Board meetings are on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the Pavilion at 10:00 AM.   All LLPOA members in good standing are welcome to attend the Board Meetings.


General membership meetings are held in May and September.

Maquoketa Valley REC, offers electrical service and internet.          1 (800) 927-6068.


Bernard Telephone offers Internet, landline, and television service. (563) 879-3203.


Septic Utilities are paid to ECIA. This can be paid by automatic draft, or payment with check or money order. Every grinder has a monthly fee. 1-800-942-4648.
